"Love the housing stuff, even when it tests my patience"
I spend way too much time decorating my house in LOTRO. There are so many little items and cozy details to mess around with, which I love. Some of the placement can be annoyingly fiddly, and I do wish it was a bit smoother, but overall it’s still one of my favorite parts of the game.

"I’m sure they nailed a lot of..."
I’m sure they nailed a lot of the Middle-earth feel here, and the artwork fits LOTRO nicely. That said, the site does feel dated in some spots, almost like parts of it were updated and other parts just weren’t. It’s not bad by any means, just a little uneven overall.

"Updates are coming, just maybe a bit slowly"
The expansions are decent overall, but the updates feel a little slow sometimes. I haven’t really kept track closely or anything, so I could be off, but it does seem like there’s a longer wait than I’d expect between improvements.

"Crafting is what keeps pulling me back in"
For me, the professions are one of the best parts. I like being able to wander around, gather materials, and slowly turn them into gear I actually use. It makes the whole process feel relaxing but still meaningful, like I’m building my character in my own way instead of just chasing drops all the time

"The skills go off quickly..."
The skills go off quickly now, and fights feel a lot smoother than before. I’m enjoying the combat more, though I’m still not totally sure how well the quality holds up over longer sessions

"Site works, but it really needs to be easier to use"
lotro.com gets the job done most of the time, but trying to find account settings or basic game info can be way more frustrating than it should be. The menus feel a bit scattered, and I end up clicking around more than necessary. It’s not a broken site, but the team should really take responsibility for cleaning up the navigation and making important stuff easier to find.

"Pretty fair price for how much game you get"
There’s just a lot here to play around with, and you don’t really have to spend much to enjoy it. I kept thinking I’d hit some kind of paywall, but... not really. For the price, it feels generous.

"I’d been trying to get back into…"
I’d been trying to get back into my old LOTRO account after randomly getting the itch to play again, probably because I saw something online that reminded me of it while I was supposed to be doing something else. I ran into some trouble logging in, but support helped me sort it out quickly. The replies were clear, they didn’t overcomplicate anything, and overall it was a much smoother experience than I expected. Really happy with how it went.

""Easy" start for a new player"
I just joined, and the setup was clear. The tutorial helped "a lot," and I didn’t feel lost right at the start like I usually do with new games.

"The quest pacing just clicks"
I blame the devs for making the quest flow so easy to get hooked on. It never feels like I’m being rushed through everything, but it also doesn’t drag. Just a really comfortable pace the whole way.

"Character creation is fine, just kinda limited"
The character creator is alright, like it gets the job done, but it’s not anything crazy. There are some decent options to mess around with, but once you start trying to make a face look really different, it feels like you hit the same few choices fast.

"Still Feels Like Coming Back to Middle-earth"
I’ve been playing lotro on and off for years, the world is still the thing that gets me every time. Wandering through the Shire, Bree, Moria, and all the little in-between places really does feel like stepping into Middle-earth. Some of the story quests move slowly, but if you like reading, exploring, and taking your time, that can actually be part of the charm. It definitely shows its age in spots with older graphics and a few clunky mechanics, but the atmosphere and music always pull me back in. Small personal win: I finally made it through a questline I’d abandoned ages ago, and it felt weirdly satisfying. Easy 4 stars from me for the immersion alone.

"Pretty smooth so far"
So far it’s been good, like, I haven’t had any crashes or weird issues yet. I’ve been using it a bit and, you know, everything seems to be running smoothly for now...

"Endgame still gives me a reason to log in"
I hit level cap a little while ago, and I’m still finding plenty to do whenever I log in, usually after dinner when I’m just trying to unwind for a bit. There are raids to work on, gear upgrades to chase, deeds I keep telling myself I’ll finish, and it all feels like steady progress without needing to treat it like a second job. I’ve been running stuff with my kin most nights, assuming everyone’s actually online and not off dealing with real life, and it’s been a good time overall.

"The cosmetic outfit system is one of my..."
The cosmetic outfit system is one of my favorite parts. It feels fair that I can keep my best gear equipped without being stuck looking like a random mess. I still get to play efficiently, but my character looks the way I want, which makes leveling a lot more fun.

"Still cozy after all these years"
I’ve played LOTRO on and off for years, and it still just feels cozy. Huge world, chill quests, and sometimes I just wander around Middle-earth for the vibe. It’s not perfect, but it’s got a charm a lot of newer games don’t.

"Quiet chats and hard-to-find groups"
I’ve been trying it out, but so far the chat feels quiet and I’m having a hard time finding active groups to join. Maybe I’m missing something, because I’d be curious to know if other people are finding good communities here or having the same issue.

"Easy to use overall"
It was easy to get around . The text is clear and readable , the keyboard works fine , and the translations are actually good

"The music still gives me chills"
I came back to LOTRO after being away for years , and the music hit me right away . The Shire themes , Bree at night , and even the little bits of birds and wind while you’re walking around make the whole world feel so peaceful .
It’s not trying to be huge or over the top , it just fits the game perfectly . Sometimes I log in with no real plan and just wander around listening for a while . Easy 5 stars from me

"I’ve been dipping in and out of..."
I’ve been dipping in and out of LOTRO for years, i blame the class design for dragging me back every time. Each one has its own feel and pace, so when I swap to an alt it doesn’t just feel like I’m playing the same thing with different buttons.

The balance isn’t perfect every single patch, but for normal questing and group stuff, it’s been more than fair for me. Whether I’m tanking, healing, or doing damage, I never feel like I’m just dead weight. Easy 5 stars from me...
